Eligibility for the Lester B Pearson International Scholarship
To be eligible for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be an international student (non-Canadian) requiring a study permit.

Be in their final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June of the year they apply.

Plan to start undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September.
Candidates must be endorsed by their high school. Schools not yet verified will need to submit a participation application, available online in September. High schools that have previously participated will gain nomination access starting early September.
Applicants must also apply to the University of Toronto and submit their admissions application by the required deadlines. Please note: the Lester B Pearson International Scholarship will be applied to your first-choice program at the University of Toronto. While students may apply to multiple programs and receive multiple offers, the scholarship will only cover the program ranked first at the time of scholarship decisions.
Once a school nomination and university application are submitted, candidates will receive a personalized link to complete the Lester B Pearson International Scholarship application.
